182nd Convention
In August 2026, we celebrated our 182nd Convention, bringing together 110 registrants for a memorable weekend filled with DKE traditions, brotherhood, and new experiences. Throughout the weekend, delegates and alumni had the opportunity to connect, build new relationships, and celebrate the bonds that make DKE special. A major highlight of this year’s Convention was the success of the Lanpher Legacy Campaign, which raised over $1 million in honor of Doug Lanpher and his years of dedicated service to Delta Kappa Epsilon. The 182nd Convention was a powerful reminder of the strength of our brotherhood and the commitment of generations of Dekes to supporting the Fraternity’s future.

Chapter Officer's Academy
The Chapter Officer’s Academy, better known as COA, has been hosted every January since 2017. COA is typically hosted in Washington, DC. It provides a unique experience for incoming Chapter Officers. The event allows incoming executive officers from across North America to learn about their positions and share experiences. Formerly known as Brother Beta Academy, COA underwent a transformation after DKE expanded its curriculum offerings in 2019 to include more officers, thanks to donations from alumni. Last year, DKE achieved a record attendance of 108 chapter officers and proudly awarded 14 scholarships, all made possible by generous alumni donations!

Emerging Leaders Institute
In July 2025, Delta Kappa Epsilon hosted its most recent Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) in St. Louis, Missouri. ELI provides younger members of the Fraternity with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and prepare to take on executive roles within their chapters. The 2025 program brought together over 100 brothers, with scholarships awarded and many attendees receiving travel subsidies, made possible through the generous support of DKE alumni. The continued growth of ELI reflects DKE’s commitment to developing the next generation of leaders and strengthening chapters across the Fraternity.
